Kinnoull Leather Sporran

Sale price£485.00 GBP

This beautiful 'Kinnoull' Leather Sporran is inspired by the Victorian era and created by our team of highly skilled artisan sporran makers in Perth.  Using the finest and richest leather adorned with brass studs and an elegant brass cantle we finished this Victorian Leather Sporran with hand braided leather tassels.

Kinnoull is a parish in Perthshire, Scotland, with Gaelic origins and a name that may refer to the beauty of the views from the high ground (Kinnoull Hill). The Hay family were early landowners in the area, and in 1633, Charles I made Sir George Hay, lord chancellor of Scotland, Earl of Kinnoull. Hay died the following year and is buried at Kinnoull Parish Church, where a monument was erected in his honour.
